CCTV systems are used to deter crime, monitor safety and assist in the investigation of incidents.<\/p>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The use of CCTV will be conducted in compliance with relevant legislation and guidance provided by the Information Commissioner\u2019s Office and the Surveillance Camera Commissioner, to fulfil legitimate business needs, such as (but not limited to):<\/p>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">\u00b7        complying with regulatory and statutory obligations<br>\u00b7        assessing compliance with the health and safety policy<br>\u00b7        preventing and detecting crime.<\/p>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">All use of CCTV will be conducted in a professional, ethical and lawful manner.  Intrusion of privacy will always be kept to a minimum.<\/p>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Cameras are located in various public areas including entrances, lobbies, hallways, parking areas and other locations where security concerns are prevalent.
