Great location, fabulous breakfast

Great location, close to the Cathedral and easy walk downhill to lots of restaurants.
Probably the best full English breakfast we have ever had at a hotel. Staff all very friendly.

Great hotel in great location

We had a lovely warm welcome and were taken to a nice room which was spotlessly clean.
We were asked if we wanted to add breakfast and we are so pleased that we did as this was well cooked and plentiful which set us up for the day.
We would highly recommend this hotel for its friendliness and it’s close proximity to the town and magnificent cathedral.

Warm welcome from reception staff. Lovely comfortable bed and pillows. The bath towel was, I think, more like a bath sheet, so big. Spoiled for choice at breakfast, and delighted by the friendliness of Eva, so had a good start for the day. I’d recommend – and if I want to stay in Lichfield again it would be at the Cathedral Hotel. So close to the Cathedral and shops.

Lovely get away

Absolutely amazing. Very friendly staff and nothing was too much trouble. Clean rooms, fantastic breakfast.

Very efficient lovely hotel

This is a lovely very well run hotel, very close to all of the major attractions in beautiful Lichfield. Staff were very friendly and welcoming, breakfast was superb.
We will definitely go back on our next visit. Thank you for a fabulous stay.

A Good Find

Very comfortable and spacious room, warm and quiet. Friendly and helpful staff. Good car park with EV charger if needed.
City centre a short pleasant walk away, as is the Cathedral. Would be happy to stay again.

Would highly recommend this family run hotel. Staff were very friendly. Room was perfect. Not a single thing wrong. It was very spacious. Plenty of storage if staying more than one night. Nice and warm and cosy!

Cosy comfy friendly hotel accommodation and experience

Great location for centre and Cathedral. Very friendly and helpful staff. Rooms are spacious and comfortable, plenty of storage for clothes.
Very clean, powerful hot showers, beds comfy for good nights sleep, cosy bar and great choice of drinks.
Breakfast excellent value at £10, nice and hot, great choice of food and again staff friendly and helpful. Easy checking/ checkout and convenient carpark.

Convenient location and a warm welcome

Our room was spacious and we had a lovely view across the countryside. It was nice to be able to sit in the lounge bar and have a drink. We had a good breakfast. The hotel is in a very convenient location for the city centre and cathedral.

Friendly and convenient

We stayed for a Friday night. The room was clean and comfortable. The bar is large and cosy. The staff were friendly and welcomed us and our dog. The city centre is minutes away.

Great family hotel

Great, clean comfortable hotel with friendly staff. Nice bar and good sized family room. Pretty close to city centre and very near cathedral. Definitely recommend.

Perfect for exploring Lichfield

Great location close to Cathedral, Beacon Park and easy walk into the city. Very friendly and attentive staff.. as a solo female I felt very safe and well looked after. Breakfast was first class. Rooms were a good size.

Exceptional weekend stay

Exceptional weekend stay at this hotel. Beautiful, spacious room with an enormous, comfortable bed. Well-appointed bathroom with a jacuzzi bath.
Good wi-fi connection, even on the 2nd floor, plus plenty of parking (free if you book directly with the hotel).
Staff were very helpful and the service during a busy breakfast time was prompt and friendly… possibly one of the best cooked breakfasts I’ve ever had!
This hotel doesn’t serve evening meals, but it does have a bar and is ideally located on a quiet residential road, just a five-minute walk downhill to the Cathedral and town. Look out for the 20% discount on evening meals at their sister pub, just down the road!

Great hotel, great location, great city. Great time had by all.

Great hotel in a great location and great value for money. Rooms were clean and comfy with everything you need. Breakfast is amazing with great service for tea and coffee and toast on tap. Car par park is easy access and only £5 for the night. It has a well stocked bar at reasonable prices with a nice seating area. Staff are friendly, helpful and efficient. Great location for Lichfield, just 10 mins walk to the city and also it is sandwiched in between two locals pubs, one of which, The Feathers Inn, is a great live music venue and also does food at just a stones throw away. Will definitely go back.
