Celebrate a special occasion with friends, family or colleagues in The Oak Room.

As the former dining room of Colonel Ansell, who rebuilt Moor Hall in 1905, The Oak Room restaurant is an elegant, stylish room with many period features including ornate ceilings, large picture windows, an oak carved fireplace and stained glass windows. The room overlooks the surrounding parkland and is the perfect setting for a private Sunday lunch with friends and family to celebrate a special occasion.

We offer Sunday lunch in The Oak Room for private bookings of 20 or more. For private bookings on other days we offer a Classic and Signature menu.

Gather your favourite people and join us in The Oak Room Brasserie, 11am – 2pm, for late mornings beautifully done. Think strong coffee, dishes worth getting out of bed for and something cold and fizzy on the side.

    Beautiful hotel in stunning grounds. The room was spotless, with a shower and a bath and had a lovely view of the gardens.
    The spa was lovely and we were lucky with the weather so enjoyed the wellness walk in the woods, and a glass of wine at one of the many outdoor seats.
    We ate in the Oak Room and both meals were freshly prepared and worth the money. Breakfast was great, with loads of choice.
